World Scholar’s Cup (Seoul Global Round 2024)

Following the triumph of the Hong Kong Regional Round, 23 students from our school qualified and made it into the Seoul Global round, competing against contestants from all around the world. They showcased their exceptional skills in teamwork, critical thinking and persuasive communication, engaging in intellectual and collaborative discussions and debating with students from all around the world.
After the four-day tournament, we are thrilled to announce that all of our 8 teams scored high enough to qualify for the final stages of the competition. They will be attending the final round, Tournament of Champions, taking place at Yale University this November.
In the Seoul Global Round, one of our teams claimed the 36th place in the Scholar’s Bowl, testifying to the intellectual prowess of our students. In team writing, one of our teams came 21st out of all the contestants across the continents, showcasing their exceptional writing skills.
All the 8 teams were awarded more than 60 awards in total during the 4-day competitions, a real achievement serving as a testament to the unwavering dedication and exceptional talent of our students. During the process, our students had a chance of interacting with contestants around the world in different cultural activities, and touring around Seoul. Gaining valuable cultural exchange opportunities and having their horizons broadened, they could prepare themselves for a brighter future ahead. Once again, congratulations to all the awardees!
